Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets (steamed)

  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers (for topping)

Instructions

Prepare the Broccoli

  1. Steam the broccoli florets for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still vibrant green. Drain and set aside.

Make the Casserole Sauce

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese until fully combined.

Mix the broccoli with the sauce.

3. Add the steamed broccoli to the sauce mixture and gently stir to coat the broccoli evenly with the cheesy sauce.

 Prepare the Topping

         4.In a separate bowl, mix the crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter until well combined.

Assemble the Casserole

      5. .Transfer the broccoli and sauce mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Evenly sprinkle the buttery cracker topping over the casserole.
