Hi, I’m Alicia Thompson, founder and head chef at Gourmetory!

My passion for cooking began in my grandmother’s kitchen, where I first saw how everyday ingredients could transform into extraordinary meals that brought people together. After studying at the Culinary Institute of America, I spent over 10 years working in various kitchens, from small boutique bakeries to five-star restaurants, perfecting my skills and learning from some of the best chefs in the world. Along the way, I even had the privilege of working on private events for A-list celebrities.

But after all those years in the kitchen, I realized something: great food shouldn’t be exclusive to high-end restaurants. I wanted to make gourmet cooking accessible to everyone, no matter their skill level. That’s when I decided to create Gourmetory.

Gourmetory is a place where both beginners and seasoned chefs can find easy-to-follow recipes, bold flavors, and simple techniques that bring joy to cooking. Whether you’re whipping up a weeknight dinner or preparing a special occasion meal, I believe that cooking should be a fun, creative experience.
